Who We Are

About Us

The Nancy Willa Ross Foundation is dedicated to transforming pediatric mental health care. Founded by Jacob Galipeau, our mission is to provide accessible, specialized mental health services for children, adolescents, and young adults. Inspired by the struggles families face in accessing adequate care, we aim to create a comprehensive support system that empowers individuals and families on their mental health journey.

Our foundation operates through a multi-phase initiative, beginning with crucial fundraising and grant acquisition, followed by the establishment of a diagnosis clinic, and eventually, the creation of a state-of-the-art pediatric and adult mental health facility. With a commitment to compassion, collaboration, and community, we are focused on making mental health care accessible to those who need it most.

Toronto Mother Seeks Support After 8-Year-Old Son With Autism Faces Challenges on First Day of School

A Toronto-area mother is searching for answers after she says her son was taken to a hospital alone in the back of a police car, placed in restraints and injected with a sedative because he was acting out on the first day of school.

Debbie Kiroff says her eight-year-old, who loves cooking, Lego and swimming, has behavioural issues and a severe learning disability. So when the principal at Holland Landing Public School phoned her on Sept. 5 to say his behaviour was “escalating,” it didn’t come as a shock.

“They know he’s a runner,” she told CBC Toronto. “When I first brought him to the school, I said to them, ‘He likes to run. That’s his release.’”

Delivering help and hope to people

The red arrows are prominently displayed because they are a meaningful connection to my grandmother. We would watch every Royal event together, and each occasion would conclude with a flyover of the red, white, and blue smoke-trailing Red Arrows—an experience I cherish deeply.
